Packaging and cost-effective shipping of your steel
We have built a unique relationship with our suppliers and partners, which enables us to offer haulage networks at economical prices. We have access to a full fleet of lorries with nationwide coverage to offer cost-effective delivery wherever you’re based in the UK.
For smaller orders, we can cut down the tube and therefore cut down the cost by reducing long length charges. Some clients prefer to send their own courier to collect from our Dorset workshop.

Packaging tubes properly
Across the metal industry, we know that tubes aren’t often transported with the TLC that they may deserve; receiving damaged goods can be a source of great frustration.
That’s why Timeless take extra care in making sure we package and ship our materials to exceed our customer’s expectations. It is possible for our tube profiles to be packaged in protective round cardboard tubes then placed in wooden crates to prevent damage to your order.
Eco-friendly packaging options
Sustainability is really important to us here at Timeless. We are aware that as an industry we all need to do more to reduce plastic consumption. When materials are supplied to us in plastic packaging, we make sure we reuse the plastic packaging to cut down on waste.
Where possible, we make our own crates out of existing crates to ensure that we do not use resources unnecessarily. We are currently exploring other ways of packaging our tubes so that they still offer the same protection while at the same time protecting our planet. Biodegradable cling-film, paper packaging tape and cardboard padding are all now options that we are happy to offer our clients. Whilst we are not yet a plastic-free organisation, we are making efforts to ensure that ecologically sound packaging becomes the standard at Timeless.
